Soft Stand Ups

This finishing transforms your needlepoint into a freestanding display piece with a soft, dimensional appearance. Unlike a structured stand-up, this style is lightly filled with premium polyfill to create a gentle, rounded shape while featuring a weighted, flat bottom for added stability. It is an excellent choice for seasonal décor, character designs, and other pieces intended to stand on a shelf, tabletop, or mantel.

Each Soft Stand Up Finish includes one complimentary blocking (if your needlework is visibly warped), your choice of cotton or velvet backing fabric, premium polyfill stuffing, a weighted flat base, and hand-crafted 1-3 color custom twisted cording. Cording is included but you are also welcome to provide uncut thread from your project for the cording.

Hard Stand Ups

The Hard Stand Up Finish is a durable, freestanding display piece with exceptional structure and stability. Each piece is constructed over shaped, high-density foam with a weighted base, allowing it to stand securely on shelves, mantels, or tabletops. This finishing style is ideal for seasonal décor, decorative scenes, and larger designs that benefit from a crisp, dimensional appearance.

Each Hard Stand-Up Finish includes one complimentary blocking (if your needlework is visibly warped), a weighted base, a 1-inch thick shaped foam gusset (increased to 2 inches thick for XL and larger sizes), your choice of cotton or velvet backing and gusset fabric, and hand-crafted 1-3 color custom twisted cording. Cording is included but you are also welcome to provide uncut thread from your project for the cording. For projects measuring over 8 inches in height, an additional 1-inch layer of foam is added to provide the extra stability needed for long-term display.
